TOR-MEC HAS BECOME A BENCHMARK IN THE WORLD OF AUTOMATIC TURNING AND THE PRODUCTION OF BRASS FITTINGS AND SMALL PARTS
TOR-MEC, a manufacturer of brass fittings and small brass parts, was founded in 1979 from mr. Gian Paolo Sala in partnership with his wife, who, after twenty years of experience in partnership with his brothers, founded his own lathe shop based in Lumezzane (Brescia, Italy) and dedicated himself, thanks to his skills and the technical innovations introduced, to machining from brass bar stock with multi-spindle lathes.
At the end of the 1980s the company needed more space in terms of both production and logistics and purchased a new warehouse in Villa Carcina (Brescia, Italy), where the entire business was relocated.
in 1998 his son Fulvio Sala joins the company's organisation chart as managing director, who aims to expand the foreign market and optimise production under the banner of eco-sustainability.
in 2010 A second production unit not far away is added to the initial site in Villa Carcina.
Continuous development and market demand mean that in the 2019 the construction of the new production site in Gussago (Bs), developed on an area of approximately 15,000 m², is completed.
Thus began a new phase of structural-organisational evolution of the entire company, based on a high level of quality, excellent value for money and structural choices in full respect of the environment.
PRODUCTION OF BRASS FITTINGS AND MACHINERY
We have been offering our utmost reliability, expertise and experience in machining from brass bar stock for more than 40 years, as well as producing small parts and fittings for various sectors.
We produce parts from 8 mm diameter. up to 48 mm. of a high technological/quality level and we also carry out more complex machining in small series.
Production takes place exclusively according to customer specifications and is developed through a continuous spirit of cooperation and discussion.
The raw material (brass bar) is purchased from leading Italian manufacturers.
